2026 Taiwan Talent Recruiting Mission to Malaysia

The Department of Investment Promotion, Ministry of Economic Affairs, has commissioned the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to assist Taiwanese enterprises in recruiting outstanding overseas talent. A delegation is scheduled to visit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 26 to 30, 2026, to conduct the “2026 Taiwan Talent Recruiting Mission to Malaysia.”

This delegation will participate in the local job fair “National Career Fair in Malaysia”and conduct recruitment activities at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). The initiative aims to help enterprises recruit professional Malaysian talent and is suitable for companies seeking to hire local talent to work in Taiwan or those with overseas expansion plans and local hiring needs.

National Career Fair in Malaysia 2026

  • The event is expected to bring together over 100 leading companies and brands, offering more than 10,000 job vacancies and attracting tens of thousands of job seekers. Attendees include not only fresh graduates but also professionals with 2–5 years or more of work experience. Participating in this event provides an excellent opportunity to recruit both experienced professionals seeking career changes and entry-level talent, as well as to enhance employer branding.
  • Exhibitors include multinational corporations and key industry players, with a strong focus on sectors such as technology, engineering, business, and services. Job openings span engineering, information technology, supply chain, marketing, and finance, making it a key platform for attracting local talent, accelerating recruitment matching, and building employer brand awareness.

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)

  • UTAR is a higher education institution established by the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) and holds significant influence within Malaysia’s higher education system, as well as among the local Chinese community and business sector. Most graduates are proficient in both Chinese and English.
  • UTAR is an industry-oriented university, and its students demonstrate a high willingness to work for multinational companies or pursue overseas careers. With strong industry collaboration, its curriculum emphasizes practical skills aligned with industry needs, equipping graduates with job-ready capabilities in areas such as engineering, information technology, business operations, and marketing.
