2025 WORK IN TAIWAN- INFO SESSION AT NCKU
To strengthen connections between the Contact TAIWAN platform and international students in Taiwan, and to encourage them to pursue careers locally after graduation, the Department of Investment Promotion, MOEA, organized the “Job-Seeking Strategy Seminar for Overseas Chinese and International Students” in May. The event not only introduced the Contact TAIWAN platform, but also invited the Ministry of Labor to explain the points-based system and related guidelines, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s employment regulations and application procedures.
The seminar featured interactions between international students and representatives from Radiant Opto-Electronics, Delta Electronics, and Tong Yang Group, who introduced their corporate culture and talent needs. In addition, a senior Vietnamese alumnus was invited to share his experiences of living and job-seeking in Taiwan, offering participants valuable insights into Taiwan’s workplace culture and policies for retaining foreign professionals.
The event demonstrated lively exchanges between companies and students. Employers emphasized the importance of strengthening Chinese language skills during the academic years to support future career development. After the seminar, several students proactively approached the companies to explore employment opportunities, demonstrating strong interest and active planning for building their careers in Taiwan.
