On March 6, 2024, Contact TAIWAN provided a platform for discussion of issues relevant to foreign and overseas Chinese students, inviting student representatives from several associations to join the event.

Issues including Contact TAIWAN-Taiwan’s job portal for global talents, points system, and methods by which international students can transition to working visas after graduation were discussed. Alumnus were also invited to share their experience and join the discussion. Chen Ru-xin (陳如心) from Vietnam and Ho Jin-ming (何金銘) from Malaysia gave first hand insights into job seeking and settling down in Taiwan.

Light refreshments were provided to all attendees. Participants reported overwhelmingly positive feedback, citing the easy atmosphere and avid exchanges.
