Emerging Markets Trade Pioneers Project
To assist Taiwanese enterprises in recruiting overseas sales specialists from the emerging markets, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has initiated the Emerging Markets Trade Pioneers Project. This project sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, is aimed to facilitate trade communication between Taiwanese companies and non-English speaking buyers from the emerging markets.
 
Qualified candidates for overseas sales specialist position will be provided short-term intensive marketing training in Taiwan by the recruiting Taiwanese companies. The Taiwanese enterprises and their chosen trainees who have been approved for participation in the project may enjoy travel incentives offered by TAITRA, such as flight tickets (for emerging market trainees) and local transportation and accommodation allowances. The incentive program is offered to only those Taiwanese enterprises looking for overseas sales specialists in the following emerging economies: Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Myanmar, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Iran and Vietnam.
