To strengthen the connection between the Contact TAIWAN platform and international students in Taiwan, and to support their employment and living experience, the Department of Investment Promotion of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) jointly organized the “Consensus Camp for International Student Association Leaders” in March. The event brought together 21 student leaders from international student associations in Taiwan, representing countries such as Germany, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The camp aimed to provide practical information on employment and residency, and to gain deeper insights into international students' expectations regarding working and living in Taiwan through group discussions.

The event collected many valuable opinions from participants. It not only enhanced their understanding of Taiwan’s work culture and policies but also promoted exchanges and collaboration among international student associations. Additionally, it helped participants build personal networks. Most attendees expressed the hope for more similar activities in the future and offered constructive suggestions for improving the Contact TAIWAN talent recruitment platform, such as providing more detailed job descriptions and a more user-friendly registration interface.
