To assist Taiwanese enterprises in recruiting international students studying in Taiwan, Contact TAIWAN leveraged its past experience in organizing matchmaking events and held three “Employment Matching Events for International Students in Taiwan” in the first half of 2024. The events were held in Taipei, Hsinchu, and Taichung, successfully engaging 105 companies and 373 international students, resulting in 822 interview sessions.

The primary goal of this year’s matchmaking events was to help companies attract international talent and enhance the global competitiveness of Taiwan’s industries. The Taipei session saw enthusiastic participation from leading companies including TSMC, HIWIN, Everlight, Unimicron, Wiwynn, ASUS, Zolix, InnoCare Taiwan, and Taishin Bank. The event also successfully drew international students from countries such as India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the United States, and Malaysia. These students demonstrated strong interest and confidence in Taiwan’s industrial development. Many also expressed admiration for Taiwan’s culture and quality of life, hoping to secure job opportunities through the event and begin their careers in Taiwan.
